The robbery happened at Howard Bank on Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City on Dec. 3, at 1 p.m., Howard County police said.
A man approached the counter and told the clerk he had a weapon, then passed a note announcing a robbery was taking place and demanding cash, police said. After receiving the money the suspect fled and no one was injured.
He is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, a gray baseball cap, and glasses.
